Re: FML general thread [8]
All my life, I have wanted to sing on stage in front of an audience. My worry is that my lack of talent in songwriting may hinder my dreams. Also, I don't have a track record with practicing on my voice. It helps that I stopped smoking years ago when it contributed to me landing in the hospital with inflammation. And I don't mess around anymore with alcohol so I don't have to worry about visits to rehab.

Re: FML general thread [8]
All my life, I have been struggling with anger issues stemming from my frustration of my station in life. Because I never completed my high school education and I really was falling behind in math when around grade 10 I had to drop out, I keep having these bad dreams of me flunking algebra II which felt complicated from the get go. Made worse by the fact my teacher seemed to have it out for me, attacking me personally and I don't even know if I actually fought back verbally by questioning her sexuality during class since it was an open secret that she was a lesbian in a time that it was still taboo. Aside from that, whether it did happen or not, my progress in other classes started to suffer that I tried homeschooling for a year then just gave up completely. I do want to complete my equivalency tests someday and attend college like all the other kids succeeded in doing but my anger gets the best of me that I fail to operate on the same level normal kids do hence my shut in existence.

My youngest brother is a racist Trump supporting bigot. -_- He says that if you're not American, you're not white. -_- He's said a lot of dumb shit in the past, but this is a new low for him. -_- I have friends that aren't American and they're white. My brother is just a 19 year old white trash scumbag who doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about. -_-

Tell him all white Americans are immigrants, ultimately. They came over the seas, fleeing from their home countries in Europe to find a better life in America. Just like those people from Africa, Asia, the Middle East these days, really.
And it was such a great 'tsunami of immigrants', to use the parlance of the current racists in power, that they completely repressed the Native Americans, resorting to hate, rape, murder, and genocide. The ancestors of White Americans are the exact description of the criminal immigrant that Trump so espouses.
/generalization (because I know not all white US immigrants were predecessors of the Arse in Chief in spirit)

Re: FML general thread [8]
Well this day fucking sucks....
Vets tested my cat who has been on meds for a week now the results came back that she has marked rhinitis and large lymph sites which means she needs to be tested for lymphoma and its just devastating as that could mean cancer. I just hope this test is negative I mean she's just a baby she's only fire years old like cats normally gets this when there much older...it just sucks and having to wait nine days for the results only makes this worse.

Not really a FML, more a "What the flying fuck is wrong with some people?!?". Yes, that person again.
Outside temperature (now): 26 degrees Celsius.
Inside temperature (now): Pretty much the same.
Yesterday: hottest day ever in my country, close to 40 degrees Celsius.
Up to this morning: Longest dry spell in my country since at least 1976.
Last night: Bloody hot night, got very little sleep because the temperature only dropped to 27 degrees Celsius at 11 in the evening and stayed there for the whole night, coupled with increasingly high humidity. Probably the same for everyone in the city.
This morning: Psycho-neighbour had one of his coughing/sounding-stoned/crazy-shower/door-slamming-fits...for about three hours in a row.
This evening: Psycho-neighbour comes home. First thing I hear is him turning on the heating . If he likes heat that much, maybe he should move to Death Valley or the like.
(not that the heating actually works in summer...but he somehow fails to notice that little fact )

Re: FML general thread [8]
I live in the East Anglia region of the UK and the thieving of catalytic converter's is on the rise due to the precious metals in them...but you always read about these things and go yeah never gonna happen to me, but the car model is one of the types they go after. I just never expected the assholes to saw it of when its on a drive way in a well lit area and both the police and garage said we are not the first to report this some one else's car same model got targeted and the same part taken last week and they are less than a mile away which points to some up market crooks moving slowly from area to area stealing them.

My friend's car got broken into repeatedly and even stolen once. Though they never take any parts off it. They did however take the owners manual for some reason.

That's sucks I'm sorry that happened to your friend that's also strange taking the owners manual since those are not hard to come by on e-bay/amazon and second had shops from time to time.

Some people are just so scummy, I've heard a similar thing but it was that church roofs are having metal stolen as well.

Lead off roofs is a common one. In this country, typically off churches, but I have a friend who had lead flashing stolen from his new conservatory.
There's certainly been a case where signalling cables alongside a railway track was stolen for the copper - that created havoc, as you might expect!

Re: FML general thread [8]
In my country it also occasionally fries the thieves to a crisp. They had to install security cameras and alarm systems to reduce the problem to manageable proportions.
I think my crazy upstairs neighbour is trying to earn himself a Darwin Award. He's done about everything you shouldn't do when you have breathing issues the last two weeks: go sit outside in the blistering sun (40 degrees Celsius) when there's smog, go exert himself in the same weather, go drinking heavily, smoke cigarettes (and possibly weed), sit outside when it rains and it's hot, block the aeration ducts of his apartment (those things exist for a reason), get all excited when he has a coughing fit, forcefully cough extra loud (great way to damage your throat), etc. Now he's coughing and sneezing badly whatever the weather is (and blames it on nonsensical stuff like something getting stuck in his throat ). I won't be surprised if (when?) he ends up in hospital with a pulmonary infection or worse...(but it takes a bit long).
Also, he might have gotten himself fired last month...spends most of the week at home.
