Delete your cookies. Seriously. Even IP addresses can usually only be traced to a local gateway--sometimes regional gateways which get used by a couple of million people. Cookies have everything basically.

Nope, any layer 3 routing data is in the packet, this includes masqueraded IPs and forwarding. That means if I look at the packet's payload, I can see all the routing information, including private net IPs behind firewalls and routers (like 192.168.0.15). And if I cared, I can just use tcpdump to save all packets incoming to port 80, post an image on this board, match the time the image was downloaded to the list of members viewing the thread, and find those packets and look for the layer 3 routing info.

Cookies have no way of knowing what your IP is if you're behind a router, since they are issued by the server and the server only cares about the "src" part of the packet's header, i.e. where the packet came from and where do I need to send replies to. But it's moot anyways because the server already knows what the IP is.

He was put in jail for that long of a time because his state has... ugh... sodomy laws. If he had intercourse with her, he'd have gotten a much smaller sentence. But since oral is considered sodomy, he got the big sentence. How's that for unfair? :x

Even with the Supreme Court ruling of Lawrence v. Texas, states still have poorly written laws on the books regarding other sexually-involved crimes.
