Pretty much my idea would be modifying the end of evangelion poster to have images of the series over the years, then stopping to say " This is truly the end to evangelion " for the main selling point, as it may be the final, definitive end of evangelion this time.

Some kind of promotion to hype up early ticket sales for Shin Godzilla?

I wouldn't be surprised if we get the first trailer released alongside screenings of Shin Godzilla. This wouldn't be the first time that studios have done this.
