Jesus Christ MaggotMaster that's a lot of games how do you store them all
He was warrior and mystic, ogre and saint, the fox and the innocent, chivalrous, ruthless, less than a god, more than a man. There is no measuring Muad'Dib's motives by ordinary standards. In the moment of his triumph, he saw the death prepared for him, yet he accepted the treachery. Can you say he did this out of a sense of justice? Whose justice, then? Remember, we speak now of the Muad'Dib who ordered battle drums made from his enemies' skins, the Muad'Dib who denied the conventions of his ducal past with a wave of the hand, saying merely: "I am the Kwisatz Haderach. That is reason enough."

Ranked (sorta) in order of descending greatness. All restricted to what I own still, and only what I've actually payed for. Also counting, to some extent, my brother's games.

Batman

Game Boy
Tetris
Bubble Bobble

What is the point of this thread?
Awesomely Shitty
-"That purace has more badassu maddafaakas zan supermax spaceland."
-On EMF, as a thread becomes longer, the likelihood that fem-Kaworu will be mentioned increases exponentially.
-the only English language novel actually being developed in parallel to its Japanese version involving a pan-human Soviet in a galactic struggle to survive and to export the communist utopia/revolution to all the down trodden alien class and race- one of the premise being that Khrushchev remains and has abandoned Lysenko stupidity

To list off all the video games we own. That's the point of the thread and i'll be goddamned if someone locks this out of "pointlessness".

XBOX360-
Halo 1&2-
(Im only buying halo 3 for the story aspect.
I'v read all the books and I want to know what happens)

Saints row-
(If you hate shitty endings, don't buy it.But other than that it's the best GTA clone out there and a fun game on it's own)

Crack down
(Fun.But felt unfinished)

GRAW
(Awsome...just awsome)

Burnout revenge
(The only racing games I like are the burnout series)

Elderscrolls IV:Oblivion-
(Awsome. But be warned:you will go through a ton of differnt characters
before you find one your happy with. Also you will quite possibly lose your REAL social life and insted choose to spend your time pushing the adoring fan off of dive rock for hours...)

Guitar hero 2
(Buy.this.game)

Call of duty 2
(Great game. But to really enjoy it you need a surround sound setup)

Dead rising
(Two complaint's...itty bitty text and no croutch button)

That's it...I used to be a hardcore gamer but after realizing I was spending
over 7 hours a day playing damn morrowind I hit a bottom. And now I can proudly say that games are nothing more to me now than a pass time...
and I got a LOT of time...*sigh*

Come on! You guys listed so many games, but it seems noone owned Duke Nukem 3D nor Quake!!!
You are all noobs :P

This thread got me remembering all the great games I played as a kid =)

-Trying to build a nice city with simcity2k with some hellish complicated hex editor for much much money!
-Playing Leisure Suit Larry and being awed by those boobs :P
-Being scared to death while playing Doom in a darkened room just for the atmosphere
-Giving money to those dancers on the 2nd level of Duke Nukem 3D
-Trying to figure wtf were those words in Day of the Tentacle (english is not my native language... try to imagine a kid of more or less 8/9 years old playing adventure games on a foreign language! and yes, I did finish the game!)
Good times =) Even shitty games are great when you're a kid. If it bleeps and is flashy, than it's entertaining =)
...
Boo!

God, Apparently you all have been discussing Q since November. Catching up on the discussion is harrowing.

I never bought any of those games. So technically, I never "owned" them, but I did "steal" them.

Also, goddamn you people own many systems. A PS2, Gamecube AND Xbox is, to me, just absurd.

I tried a Duke Nukem game once, when I was like 13. It held my attention for something like 2 hours, until I decided to move onto a venture more rewarding in the long haul; Scrambled Cable Porn.

Oh yeah. I broke my GameBoy when I got angry enough with Dr. Franken (PoS-game) and bashed it to my forehead till the screen cracked and it got all murky. Didn't buy a new one, but my bro did.

FAIL.

Quake is not Quake unless its on the PC. Period. End of story. Hell, no FPS (except Halo) is really a true FPS unless it's on PC. And yes, I have played Perfect Dark and 007. Can't hold a candle to Half-Life or Battlefield.

Regardless, here be my list:

Half-Life

Half-Life 2

Counter-Strike

Counter-Strike: Source

Day of Defeat

Day of Defeat: Source

Myst III

Battlefield 1942 Collection

The Movies

Quake 4 Collectors Edition (with Quake 2 and expansions)
