He was warrior and mystic, ogre and saint, the fox and the innocent, chivalrous, ruthless, less than a god, more than a man. There is no measuring Muad'Dib's motives by ordinary standards. In the moment of his triumph, he saw the death prepared for him, yet he accepted the treachery. Can you say he did this out of a sense of justice? Whose justice, then? Remember, we speak now of the Muad'Dib who ordered battle drums made from his enemies' skins, the Muad'Dib who denied the conventions of his ducal past with a wave of the hand, saying merely: "I am the Kwisatz Haderach. That is reason enough."

I hate to break it to you, but that is a lot of games. Although I do know what you mean. There are some really hardcore gamers out there that put normal people's sizable collections to shame.

I have a healthy sized collection, I haven't actively collected or even played games for several years now. College kind of killed my gaming habits. I was a pretty hardcore gamer for a few years, from the golden age of the PS1 through the golden age of the PS2, so you'll see a sizable collection of games for those systems.

I assume you mean Street Fighter Alpha 3.

Out of the multitude of ports that game got, the PS1 one was the worst, by the way (not counting the GBA one).

Heh, I'd forgotten all about that game. Although I wouldn't call it "scary", it does have some moments that make you go "What the hell?". Like when the volume on your T.V. supposedly turns all the way up when your sanity meter drops, (I thought I was sitting on the remote or something). I should really swing by E-Bay and pick it up one of these days.

Beyond Good and Evil (WTF was i thinking buying this kids game)

That you were a kid? It's a good game though. What's your beef with it?

i was like 19. this game is something i would give a 12 year old. Really.

And Eternal Darkness had some scary moments. I remember one time I was playing it in the basement (dark) and my sister and older cousin were taking a minute to watch me. I walked into the bathroom of the house, didn't notice the woman there in the tub of blood, quick zoom in and loud flashes and noises made me scream like a girl.

other shit that can happen with low sanity:

bleeding walls
camera tilted
strange noises (crying children, screaming babies, vioces speaking in tounges)
character starts limping, hallucinating, talking to self.
blood from walls lands on you
shrink or grow to ridiculous size
sink into floor
blue screen of death from windows 95 (IM SERIOUS)
volume fucked up
bugs crawl across screen
you become dismembered
your head falls off. You move to pick it up. Head levitates off the ground and begins quoting Hamlet
game appears to restart, error mesage displays saying all saved games are corrupted
Message saying you've beat the game, see the rest in the sequal/finale sanity's redemption

More stuff too.
God, Apparently you all have been discussing Q since November. Catching up on the discussion is harrowing.

PC
Touhou 7: Perfect Cherry Blossom (the Touhou series is not freeware and has to be imported, I learned, after getting it. I downloaded the game/translation patch off of a friend.)

And yes, if you'll notice there are no PS1/2 games on my list whatsoever. I've been regetting this for along time now and will remedy it once I have teh moneyz to.

i feel sorry for your gamecube. Seriously.
God, Apparently you all have been discussing Q since November. Catching up on the discussion is harrowing.

Way, way less than any of those other lists. I have a couple of the pokemon games, probably a half dozen RPG's, and some of the popular PC games (Warcraft 2&3, Diablo 1&2, Age of Empires/Mythology, and some of the Civilizations.)

I just don't have enough time in my life to be a gamer.
