Hey folks, I've been meaning to be active around here again, and after watching a few random Eva youtube vids I figure now is a better time then ever to start making more of an effort. So bear with me as I attempt to remember to come back around more often, and probably stop on the IRC as well.

Hello, I really would prefer not to get deleted so I'll make a few posts. Long time Evangelion fan, I watched it when I was in eighth grade myself so like reading Catcher in the Rye your sophomore year I was destined to became enamored with it. Besides Evangelion I'm a big fan of the works of Nobuyuki Fukumoto such as Kaiji, Akagi and Zero. I watched the Ultra Seven series because of my love with Eva and it's turned me into a bit of an Ultra otaku. Also, I translate ero doujinshi and manga as a hobby and I've translated quite a bit of Asuka! Maybe you've read some of it before so we're already friends!

Hello!
I am Holomuran from Brisbane, Australia. I've been a massive Eva fan since the age of 14, and although I didn't absorb quite what was going on a lot of the time, it left an indelible mark on me. After watching it for the second time (and especially since I have mental illness and psychological issues) it sunk in and became my favourite anime, if not my favourite TV show. EoE was the first DVD I ever bought I really hope I fit in here, even if only to discuss my feelings about the series with other fans.
By the way, I'm impressed by the way this forum is administered/moderated. 98% of you seem like nice, genuine people wanting to create a healthy environment for discussion and/or debate.
Regards
Holomuran

Watch them unravel you, pulling everything apart...
I lurked and realized I might never post in "Evangelion Discussion," because I have cut and dry takes on things. Also, I'm working on this that I would have liked to get feedback on in the topic I created for it, so I'll try here. This is the latest progress:

Cut and dry is sometimes the best thing for the discussion forums. I'd say go in and see what happens!
Though, Gob still might look good in a cocktail dress.

We have to remember what's important in life: friends, waffles, and work. Or waffles, friends, and work. But work has to come in third.

Come read EVA Sessions! This place has it, too! There'll be pizza! Not really! There are other things, too! Not EVA Sessions! Did I mention the pizza!?

Hello, new guy here
Thank you for having me in the group. This looks like a really neat forum. I'm an old otaku, I watched the old black n white Astro Boy when I was a kid in the 60's. I want to keep up with the new. Mike
I like anime

In contrast to me, who is old, but not an old otaku - having discovered anime and manga barely five years ago.
Welcome to the madhouse!
