Forgive me for resurrecting this LONG dead thread, but has anyone seen the show Prison Break? I just got done watching the first two seasons on DVD, and god damn, are they good! The main character, Michael Scofield, is like the hybrid child of Jack Bauer and Danny Ocean, in that he's a manipulative lil bastard, but in a good way. As you can imagine, the story centers around people breaking out of prison. You would think this would get old after a while, but even after two seasons in their still keeping things fresh.

Also, now that I'm done with this show (for the moment), which one should I watch next: Lost or 24? I hear Lost is really good, but all my pals say 24 is better. I don't know what to do!

You should be watching "Boston Legal." That is the best show on television.

Recently, I've been into Lost, Heroes, and Avatar.

Unfortunately, all three are on break. I'm thinking I might fill the break with past episodes of Stargate, Babylon 5, of The Pretender.

Mine is, well Star Trek's TOS, TNG, DS9, and and season three and four of Enterprise. Babylon 5, Stargate SG-1, and Knight Rider are also my favorites.

You're in luck because "Boston Legal" is not a drama at all.

Really? That's funny, because William Shatner isn't an actor either! It's like the two were made for one another!

Now, back to my question: Lost or 24. ANSWER ME DAMN YOU!

I'm going to say against what has been a constant since longer I've been alive.
William Shatner is a good actor. There, I said it. He actually won a non-counterfeit oscar because of Boston Legal. Complete with emmy-themed shower curtains. Also, you can't sit there wiht a straight face and say that Kirk is worse than Janeway. Also, now I cant get the fucking imkage of John Sheridan and Kaythrin Janeway, (cuz that's how Mulgrew always said it, in that dick-shriveling voice of hers.) , well, tag-teaming with Delenn and Sinclair?

William Shatner is absolutely brilliant on "BL." Denny Crane has got to be one of the best TV characters of all time. It is a funny and intelligent show. James Spader is also great. Both lead actors have won awards, and so has the program itself. But since you refuse to watch the best show on TV (I'm kidding around here ;) ), I will say you should check out 24 over Lost. Of course, the first season of 24 sucks ass, but the later ones are better.

24's first season was actually pretty good, better than the newer stuff. I think they are really losing grip on the series. Also, Season 2 opener was awesome KIefer Sutherland with the giant-ass beard= pure awesome

I watched Lost up till around episode 10-15 of season 2. Been meaning to catch up, but instead I had my friend reveal all the goings-on of the last season and a half.
Prison Break looked sweet, but missing a few episodes and waiting to get a hand on those broke it the same way as Lost, because now I've had that one spoiled too.
So nah, no TV-series really. Just waiting to see what'll happen to Futurama, wether it'll be a series of episodes or movies...

No angels and no ghosts, no real victories to toast
If you believe that this is true then I must ask;
to what end do you proceed?

I searched, but I couldn't find a thread.

Mine has to be The Adventures of Pete and Pete. Perfect mix of comedy, drama, and story. Plus, Artie is the best character ever invented.

The Outer Limits (the original series).

Artie: The Strongest Man*dramatic pause* IN THE WORLD!

We can make a legitimate argument for that.

Plus that show is just really awesome. I watched that Ice Cream man episode, where they try to become friends with Mr. Tastee and that episode with the pay phone that wouldn't stop ringing; its better than I remember it. No corny laugh track, static enviroments, and bad actors here. Its funny, its eccentric, its awesome. Plus, I'm pretty sure I had a crush on Ellen growing up.
