I think you could keep that little hole-esque thing (like what the "u" right after the p has) within the p connecting the outer end of it and making an extension on the tip of the p so it stands out over the m, which would make the reading clearer.
Sorry for the vague textual description instead of just drawing it, don't have a scanner on-hand and i still don't know how to do digital drawing.
