Did a quick Google search and found it at EvaOtaku. There’s a parenthetical next to Fuyutsuki's “well of souls” phrase that says (Lit: “as a medium.”)

I’m not sure how “Embryo of life” is a better statement than “Well of souls” when the original Japanese text literally translates “as a medium.” (Though to be fair, is has been a bit of time since I’ve heard the phrase in context.) I’m currently using this script to re-sub EoE myself, and will probably just go with “as a medium” as opposed to either of the other phrases.

Take it up with Symbv, as it's his translation. I trust his judgement on the matter more than that of anyone who isn't a native speaker.
For my post-3I fic, go here.
The law doesn't protect people. People protect the law. -- Akane Tsunemori, Psycho-Pass
People's deaths are to be mourned. The ability to save people should be celebrated. Life itself should be exalted. -- Volken Macmani, Tatakau Shisho: The Book of Bantorra
I hate myself. But maybe I can learn to love myself. Maybe it's okay for me to be here! That's right! I'm me, nothing more, nothing less! I'm me. I want to be me! I want to be here! And it's okay for me to be here! -- Shinji Ikari, Neon Genesis Evangelion
Yes, I know. You thought it would be something about Asuka. You're such idiots.

^ Ah, okay. I guess it’s also important to note that what EvaOtaku has is just the screenplay, which doesn’t really mean that it represents what was finally decided upon before or during the recording of the voice actors. Megumi Ogata suggesting to Anno that Shinji should remain silent after Kaworu’s death (and Anno agreeing with that) means that there might be dialogue in the screenplay that is no longer considered part of the official work. I can imagine the same thing happening for EoE, which changes being made after things are already written.

My understanding is that the End of Evangelion "screenplay" on EvaOtaku is actually a transcript. In other words, it's based off listening to the Japanese audio of the finished movie and translating it into English. (As opposed to reading a Japanese screenplay and translating it into English.) This is presumably why the Translator's Notes say that "other (mostly background) lines are rather difficult to hear." I interpret this as an indication that some or all of the dialogue is being transcribed by ear.

The EvaWiki also suggests the EvaOtaku version is a transcript:

The End of Evangelion Motion Picture Screenplay. Translated by Bochan_bird. (Despite the name, this is a translation of the final movie's dialogue formatted into a "screenplay", not the pre-production screenplay.)

I wrote more about this previously here. Also, I could be wrong, so of course anyone should please correct me if I am.

I just wanted to clarify this because you wrote that the EvaOtaku text might not represent "what was finally decided upon before or during the recording of the voice actors." And if it was a translation of an actual screenplay used in production, that would be true. But if it's really a transcript, it should be based on the final dialogue as heard in the film.

That makes more sense then what the translator said.

Is that just about the box coming later in the year? Or is it saying that knowing about the box will keep us going until the real news coming later in the year - the first real timetable for the last rebuild film?

Ok, I'll try to translate it as literally as I can. Keep in mind, neither English nor Japanese is my native language, and my Japanese is far from perfect :)

It's late at night, isn't it? It rains in Tokyo... various [stuff] in preparation... For January as well as for the latter half of 2015. Hurry up! Look forward to the Neon Genesis Evangelion Blu-Ray Box. Stay tuned for more!

Thanks; I'll take it on board as it stands and try not to speculate further.

If so, pretty interesting to do IRL, I just wanted some NGE news.

I remember Funimation released the DVD for Eva. 1.01 before releasing the 1.11 version on DVD and Blu-ray. I kinda hope they do the same for NGE, releasing the Archive DVDs first and then waiting a couple of months before releasing the Renewal version on DVD and Blu-ray. It'll give me a chanse to purchase both.
