For those in the US or simply interested:

Interesting parallel between Massachusetts and Utah.
Among the people who use the Internet, many are obtuse. Because they are locked in their rooms, they hang on to that vision which is spreading across the world. But this does not go beyond mere ‘data’. Data without analysis [thinking], which makes you think that you know everything. This complacency is nothing but a trap. Moreover, the sense of values that counters this notion is paralyzed by it.

1. Why is my state greyed out?

2. Each of those is somehow perfect, except for Michigan. What?

3. Utah is the home of my soul.

I'm not surprised about Nebraska. I have a cousin up there who owns a farm, and he's mightily irritated about the prospect of the Keystone XL running through there and mucking things up. Oklahoma's search terms I find to be darkly amusing, and Texas... well, I'm not surprised. I'm surprised that there was only one porn-related thing, though.

As a Texan...I am really not surprised about the Ebola conspiracy thing.

I actually had a squad leader who very nearly lost his marriage because this whole thing happened while we were at Fort Polk, and his wife was wanting to extract the kids from school, move out to the middle of nowhere, and wait for the end of the world.

...I have no idea why I still live in Texas.

I had to google a map of the US to figure out most of the states. I couldn't pick out either Utah nor Massachusetts from their neighbors.

Been out of Geography class for a while

I'm a little interested about my state, Florida. I don't recall hearing about it.

For some reason, "What is a selfie" fits very well with my idea of New York.

I'm kinda surprised about my state, but then again a lot of companies that are part of the gaming industry are headquartered here (Nintendo's North American HQ, Microsoft, Valve, Bungie, to name what I know.) so maybe that has something to do with it?

Considering the whole silicon valley thing, I'm not really that surprised that California is all into bitcoin. I remember when I was reading a new article about it nearly every week.

Why is West Virginia concerned with Maroon5?

I once memorized all the states for a test. Goes to show the value of the bing-and-purge exam model of learning!

Yeah, that's not really a surprising result. But still, it's quite interesting how each state is so vastly different except for a couple of cases.

Bitcoin: a scam made for fraudsters, specifically avoiding everything that has been put in place to make the economy safer for everyone

Seriously, it is probably as high risk as it gets, and I seriously don't like the anti-statist goals behind it (not like as if the last time certain financial options got deregulated things went down the sink hole).
I mean, the disclosure of economical information is key to fairer and accountable activities in market, and bitcoin is making sure to go the other way and introduce conditions encouraging arbitrage not seen since the banking scene in Renaissance Italy mostly caused by the lack of transportation speed. And also hilarious comparisons with every single bubble that has ever happened. Damn anyone who thinks bitcoin to be viable 'money'.

It says "NO POLITICS" right in the thread title, Imperialist, in big capital letters. How about some compliance with our regulations. :hahaha:

Well, damn it, Monk, where else can we discuss the deplorable situation of Renaissance Italy's social situation!?

...those god-damned, tyrant-supporting Black Guelphs...
