Last Eva Manga Volume Features New Character

It's hard to say who resembles who in Eva without explicit confirmation. Gendo and Fuyutsuki are based on real people in their appearance, while everyone else is a little samefacey. I mean, Maya and Shinji look related.

She's not a new character. She's just Yui (younger) with long hair and Gendo's glasses in her hand. Also, she looks like a student. Maybe, this new manga will be about how Gendo and Yui met. It's difficult to know more of this because Sadamoto drawings are too similar :um:

There was this Omake in Angelic Days that showed a pretty funny AU where Yui and Gendo met as Teenagers.

Yeah, I also remembered that story Ray. In the original image we can see to Rei with something in her hand that she doesn't show (but I supposed this thing are Gendo's glasses) and another young woman (Yui) with glasses too. Here we can see the connection between them. Well, it appears is a manga about Gendo, a younger Yui and Rei with similar attitudes to her. In other words, an episode of "How I Met Your Mother" Sadamoto's version.

Rei illustration IMO points to the exclusive artbook. Just my opinion.

The new girl being a young Yuri???? Good theory, I could buy that. For me she looks closer to Mari than Yui, but for me Sadamoto's girls always look the same :hahaha:

For me, she doesn´t "feel" Yui, but I wouldn't discard anything.

Kaworu resemblance???? Where??

And, IMO, I don't know what could add a Yui side story

We deserve Soap Opera bonus, damned Sadamoto. If you're gonna fuck up the characters, do as much as you can

Mari isn't Asuka's mom, more like her sister or Asuka herself. Unless Kyoko's hair became redder as she grew older or she dyes it.

Though it would be nice twist on my sequel theory if Kyoko was able to escape Unit 02 after EoE and helped her daughter out physically.

Also Mari being her mom would be a good explanation as to why she'd call her Princess :lol:

I told everyone that it was going to show Mari's origin and be related to FINAL

Except that Kaji refers to her as a kid at the start of Ha, just after she's ejected: "Though, I'm not so sure about involving a kid in the affairs of adults", and her parallel comment about adults: "I'm not so sure about involving an adult to achieve my own goals".
