How long did you lurk before signing up?

Yeah. You read right. This is for everything that doesn't have anything to do with Eva.

I lurked for however long it took me to find the "Register" button, so like 10 seconds tops.

I do not like to lurk on forums.

I lurked only a couple times before realizing I could be just as cool as everyone else in here if I signed up.

What I want to know is why there are dozens of people who have an account but never post anything. You can lurk undisturbed for years without any sort of account, so the whole process seems pointless. Maybe there's some logic to it that I'm missing, but to all you zero post accounts, I'm calling you out. We're not as scary as we seem. You could at least say "hi".

A month, I thought Nuke-kun and Catamari were funny. The place seemed friendly so I decided to stay.

Zero-post accounts are purged on a regular basis IIRC. At this point in time, we have exactly 544 users without a post to their name. None have accounts older than 2012 (asides from some ANF users that were copied over, but that somehow don't have any posts. See here for an example of this.)

One can actually track what has new posts if one has an account versus one without an account. That's about the only use I can see of lurking with account but lacking posts.
