I just got a call from Target and am going in for a job interview on Tuesday at 9am!

Speaking of jobs... After waiting for two weeks or something, I finally have a first day to show up for training at my Minimum Wage Slave grocery store gig, this coming Saturday. Should be nice and awful, since apparently I'm being started at the register, when I was told at my interview that I'd be mostly doing non-foods stocking. Ah, well, being able to handle a register is a good skill to have, so I shouldn't start complaining until my feet are ready to die.

Hope I can get away with wearing yoga pants for my first days, since I don't have much else to wear (...that still fits) until that clothing order I waited a bit too long to submit arrives.

Probably, they want you to learn how to do that before you start the stocking aspect, so that you know how to use it when they need you to fill in for a regular cashier or if the lines get too long and they need people to come up so customers don't have to wait so long. If I remember right, that's how it was done when I used to work at a Target many years ago. Otherwise, good luck with your new job.

Well after going through orientation last night and my first day of training tonight. I have to say so far, my job is pretty fun. I have way more areas I'm responsible for than I thought I would, but I like the challenge. I basically work in a restaurant/arcade and am responsible for guest check in when needed, running food to tables or busing them when needed, run the ticket counter if needed, as well as what I was hired for, arcade room attendant and general facility maintenance.

Not exactly easy, but hey it's a start (Finally), and I like my co-workers already. I mean besides like three people I already know because of being friends outside of work for a number of years, being able to exchange jokes on a regular basis with new acquaintances makes me feel welcome.

I woke up this morning looking for my phone charger in my nightstand drawer and wondered why the drawer was stuck. Inside I found a hot topic bag with the Sailor Moon plushie I wanted. A perfect way to start my day!

I originally had a case study due at midnight on Friday, but that has now been pushed back to Monday at 10:00. This is good because I've had four midterms in the past six days and as a result, I'm pretty much exhausted. This means I can work on this thing gradually instead of cramming it all into a 48 hour period.

Just bought a hard to find album for $4.16. It was $1.00 before shipping. It was repressed a year ago, but only 500 had gotten pressed on vinyl. Somehow I found a re-press for a dollar. I was willing to take a chance on it, because it wasn't much money, so if it's a fake, I won't be upset. Here's hoping it's legit though.

Well, I've been mostly able to resolve things with my Econ teacher from the other day. Let's hope that things keep going well.

It's frigging hot. And humid. Mostly humid. Sometimes it's cold.

Still humid.

No gators. Lots of small, biting insects. And black widows. They are very large and...widowy.

Also, Rangers don't do well against National Guard Engineers, it seems. The weakness of the mighty Regiments? Citizen-Soldier Engineers with too much time on their hands and miles of concertina wire and tanglefoot.
