The Jains and some Buddhists, perhaps -- everyone else is in the "meat is for feast days" routine, like most human societies throughout history (and the celebration of the end of a month of fasting definitely counts as a feast day). Some meats are ritually sensitive, but chicken and mutton are fairly standard everywhere they can be afforded.

Old news at this point, but in case people don't keep up with this stuff, you should probably make sure your bash is patched. Some people saying debian and ubuntu is safe because they run dash instead, but make sure your version is actually running dash. Apparently EC2 AMI's don't.
