Thanks for the translation, that clears it up, I should likely feel slow for asking this, but what does Poka Poka mean?

EDIT- I guess I was slightly right.

Poka poka is a childish way to say roughly "feeling warm an fuzzy", Rei used that term in 2.0 to describe to Asuka how she feels toward Shinji (and Gendo) during the remake of the elevator scene.
It reached memetic status and became pretty much her catch phrase.
"Poka-Rei" is also sometimes used to design Rei II from the Rebuild, in contrast to Rei Q in 3.0 for the new clone.

Also, poka poka is also a sound effect for beating something up, so there's been much hilarity with puns and fanart of Ayanami or Asuka hitting Shinji:
