I had always assumed her armors' green parts were supposed to have a bit of a phosphors quality to them (as there is supposed to be the words "Test Type" on her arm), like reflector lights. Now the animation technology's as such that this can possibly be achieved more consistantly, perhaps?
And yea....pretty glow in the dark figures are forseeable.^^;

Oh, give them credit where credit is due! At least three of those drawings are new. ;;p

Too much green for me.
Makes me wonder what limited new additions are going to be made to Eva 00 and Eva 02.
I just hope they give EVA-02 a normal jaw joint instead of the stupid helmet-pop gimmick they didn't have the sense to eliminate until EoE.
Question- Did Eva 01 always have a blue....er.....slit on its crotch plate?
This would have taken you 1 minute max to find the answer, but ... no.
Not a slit, BTW. That's just the tip of the armor piece. It could theoretically be used as a weapon!

I don't thin it looks more mechanical, it's basicaly the same thing (thank anno) but with some color differences (they better get that green waist thing out). The only thing that's changed is the shoulder sign that used to say (or still does) EVA 1
~But someday you will come to understand that on your back, there are wings with which you can fly on the distant future.

I found this on Anno's official webpage.

I believe in the director of Eva 1.11.

The FAA probably made them do it. That way no planes will fly into any of the Eva's at night.
EVANGERIONANIME is stupid

As for me glowing in the dark has never been a bad thing :) I think it can really look superb during Operation Yashima scenes - dark night, no lights and glowing Eva. Providing of course that it won't be overdone. Slight glow will be ok, while a green lighthouse certainly won't.
That seems to be more than a slight glow if you ask me... In the dark it would be a green light house.
I'm guessing the glowing feature is kind of a "Oh come on, I dare you!" to the Angels...
