In other news, Houka has nothing going on downstairs. Guy isn't even a girl in drag. I'm sure it's just an animation shortcut, but the thought he's a clone or robot or something is amusing.
Bit at the end was cool. First we've seen of the actual plot since, what, episode 5 or so? Nice to see things start moving again.

I don't think Senketsu killed Matoi. Otherwise, that Nudist guy with the needle gun would have killed it the instant he saw it, regardless of how it was acting.

Yeah. Jakuzure may be my favorite of the Elite Four if only because of the way Mayumi Shintani is delivering her performance.
I'm thinking Kiryuin is pitting Ryuko against the Main Four to make them all realize their flaws & weak points. They were all pretty full of themselves like Sanageyama was the first time he fought Ryuko, though now he's improved himself & is even preparing himself for his 2nd fight with Ryuko instead of just diving in without a stretch. I'm also thinking whatever Kiryuin's big endgame is - probably to take down her family - the three male Elites are going to stick around & become allies with Ryuko. Jakuzure though is probably gonna have some serious issues to work out & will stay an antagonist for a while.
Or at least thats what I think.
*I also like how that weird little monkey pet thing Jakuzure had as a kid died & then she used it's skeleton to decorate the top of her hat.
