I was shocked, shocked!, to see the credits full of non-Japanese names.

The URL at the end of the vid links to a Facebook page begging you to download IE :cringe: Is this an actual marketing campaign by Microsoft?

This is ... surreal.

Among the people who use the Internet, many are obtuse. Because they are locked in their rooms, they hang on to that vision which is spreading across the world. But this does not go beyond mere ‘data’. Data without analysis [thinking], which makes you think that you know everything. This complacency is nothing but a trap. Moreover, the sense of values that counters this notion is paralyzed by it.

And so we arrive at demagogy. - Hideaki Anno, 1996

It exists. But you're right, it certainly wouldn't be the first web browser that I thought of for Mac computers.

It's not the first time Microsoft has launched an anime-themed campaign in Japan. (warning: links definitely NSFW!)
They created an official Windows 7-tan, Nanami Madobe, complete with a custom GUI theme. There's also her sweet Visual Studio onee-san, Claudia. Her figure can be yours for just $1700 (free copy of VS2010 Pro included!). My sympathies to the cute but unlucky Silverlight-tan, Hikaru.

To some, eating with the mouth wide open is considered rude.

It isn't eating with the mouth open - it's opening the mouth wide to take the bite that's considered rude. Eating with one's mouth open is messy and gross.

Well, I guess that makes sense. I mean, it's a totally wacky solution to put someone's face on the other side of the wrapper, but it makes sense.

Moreso considering how big the burgers are, otherwise ladies will have to make do like quartering the burgers into pieces with fork and knife.
