Asuka is all about the broken-bird moe -- which is pretty much by definition not cute.

Touji's dense as a brick of lead. I'd say that makes Hikari fair game. If he's not going to make a move, why should I sit on the sidelines? And I don't think the Straight-laced Class Rep would be into that creepy Necrophilia stuff after Touji becomes the 4th Child...
So yes, another Hikari fan here, but in all honesty, she comes second-place to Ayanami.
As for Non-Human Cast? Pen-Pen all the way.

I've held off on watching Rebuild for now. Mainly because I haven't been able to find the discs for a price I'm willing to pay. The other reason is because all other applicable HDD Space for "Yo ho ho! Bottle of Rum!" tendencies is spoken for until the To-Watch backlist gets cleared off a bit. But on the imageboards I hang around, I've noticed this raving/raging schism between fans of Ayanami/Q. AFAICT, Q is just another incarnation of Rei. Just because she turned out differently, people seem to have this visceral reaction to her. It doesn't make any sense. But then again, as mentioned, I haven't seen Rebuild either.
I don't think you've read the manga.....Kaworu's Kute Kitten, that's all I'll say.

???? I was just saying Sakura was cute, what does that have to do with Q Rei? But there's nothing wrong with Q Rei, its the Rei I always knew...... But this is just asking for off-topic DE-railment.
I mean, predictability is the central attraction and the narrative hook that we've all come to expect from the Evangelion franchise. How come Anno can't realize this? Twice? - FreakyFilmFan4ever

Never said there was anything wrong with Q. I just don't get what the big kerfuffle is about, even after I've gotten what little response about the matter I could. To steer back on topic, though, I concur, Sakura IS cute. Makes me think of Mana Kirishima a bit (I still want an English patch for Girlfriend of Steel, if anyone knows where to track one down at) which was always another I found cute. Though judging from "Sakura Suzuhara", would this be the Sister that was injured in Shinji's debut battle?

Ummm well I probably should not say anything if u haven't seen any of the movies, it gets kinda tricky by the time Sakura shows up.

Right. Still, I do not understand the appeal of that either.

Some people like to fix things, or perhaps it's about the level of control that can be exerted. In many cases it's likely to be a mixture of the two.

After finishing the manga and shedding many tears with Rei doing various things for Shinji... And the way she looked in Instrumentality in the manga ending? I HEARD PIECES OF MY HEART FALLING ON THE FLOOR.
Sorry, my vote goes to Rei 2.

I'm gonna have to change my opinion from Yui to Maya. Don't get me wrong, Yui is still the most beautiful character in the whole show (even after being absorbed into Unit 01), but Maya is the definition of cute.

I'm gonna have to agree with this guy. It seems to me that despite being an employee of Nerv, she is perhaps the most innocent character on the show (excluding people that have nothing to do with Nerv, SEELE or the EVAs)
She's like the definition of 'adorkable'

Ah, Maya...don't you just want to feed her sugar cookies and pat her on the head?
Though, Gob still might look good in a cocktail dress.
