Here's something I still don't get, what's their excuse for having americans, russians, british and Japanese participating in the same national tournament? What nation is this?

As for the picture above, it's kinda funny that the nerd girls participate in the victory event despite their minor contribution, being cannon fodder was literally all they did, plus they are ugly and shouldn't even be in the anime. /rabidmoefan

Seriously though, they could have explored them further, it felt like they were added simply for the one joke, I wouldn't mind having them replace a lesser team, I mean come on, computer nerds have much more potential than hall monitors.

The schools we saw are governed by Japan, some are just themed after other nations.

And if it weren't for the nerds the match would have ended at the beginning because the shot was aimed at the flag tank. I wouldn't call their sacrifice a minor contribution even if it wasn't intentional.

That sentence was tongue in cheek, I mean, they were still just cannon fodder but very crucial ones at that.

They got knocked out before getting a shot off, took one for the team. And maybe they get a little more character development in this final OVA.

Well, I finally got round to watching the last episode...

That was one of the best endings to an anime I've seen in a long time. The final battle was absolutely nail-biting, the post-victory bit was cute and well-done, it was just...excellent.

Now to watch the OVAs!

This ep was vindication for Survival War, as all the stuff she brought was actually put to good use. She also learned from her intel gathering experience at Saunders. I wonder what Rommel's reenactor outfits are.

God damn, these writers know how to do good character interaction. It being Yukari and Erwin does half the work for them, but I still found Snow War really, really enjoyable. I loved that Yukari's near-encyclopaedic knowledge of tanks got her through the whole intel mission, too. She certainly had more success than when she tried to scope out Saunders.

Also, how lovable they made the Pravda girl - Nina (Нина), I'm almost certain (first unfamiliar katakana name, Googling "ニーナガールズ&パンツァー" seems to bring her up) - in such a short amount of time was impressive.

KV-2-tan was too cute indeed.

I agree the interaction was really enjoyable. Usually Erwin gives off the vibes of that of a chuuni tomboy and the OVA revealed that she also has a bit more of a girly side to her. She seems like a normal girl who just wants to have fun.

I actually learned me about this some days ago, not too much into Super Sentai. Here is the video of it.
