Not true normal types can learn some good moves however if they did go with a normal type then that would be a pretty bland choice.

Red Saber (greater than) Blue Saber, Red's pretty much a female version of Gil, it's awesome.

Fem Gil is the second best Gil, right behind Hobo Gil:

Battles in Space. BP

Postby Alaska Slim » Thu Apr 25, 2013 4:15 am

Homeworld 2.

Image

F*CK. Level 14, 7 Battlecruisers, 4 Destroyers, DOZENS of Frigates AND a Dreadnaught.

I said "F*ck that!". I tend to be a completist, but in this case I just lured them out with my frigates, fighters, and corvettes, while I hyperspaced my capital ships right behind Makaan.

I then order him TO BURN MOTHER F*CKA'! His escorts got back in time to kill two of my destroyers (and most of my decoy frigates died), but otherwise it turned out well. Came up with a surprisingly effective strategy, where I hid Gun and Ion turrets behind Sajuuk, so missile carriers couldn't attack them outright. Makaan lost all of his frigates, 3 of those destroyers, and all of his strike craft (and both carriers, but I killed them earlier). Suffice to say, didn't take on those battlecruisers or the dreadnought (they were too slow), so I wasn't able to top my tour de force of eliminating 5 Battle-cruisers and saving all three generators in the prior level, without a single capital ship lost (lots of frigates and collectors though).

Final level, I WAS LIED TO. I was told Sajuuk was nigh-invincible, with armor few weapons could penetrate, so I hyperspaced him behind the Battlecruisers to distract and hopefully take them out, only to see him taken out by the Vagyr's combined firepower.

... You know, for so-called "Progenitor technology" the advantage to him over conventional ships is surprisingly small, like, a leap the Vagyr could overcome within a generation or so. And why couldn't the Dreadnought destroy one of the platforms too? It's no more conventional than Sajuuk himself.

Also *fangasmed* when it hit me Makaan's voice was a Dawn of War alum.

They really need to make a Homeworld 3.

Anyway, have you tried the Homeworld 2 complex mod? http://www.homeworld2complex.com/index1.htm

Spending part of my game time catching up on entries I missed in the Fire Emblem series - I want to play as many as possible before buying a DS and Awakening.

Aside from that, Crusader Kings II and Hearts of Iron III take up a chunk of time. What can I say? I like strategic war games. The learning curve for Paradox games is generally high, but I feel like once you nail down Hearts of Iron, you can play just about any strategy game and figure it out (Hearts of Iron can be very hard if you play without discipline).

And I don't think online poker counts, does it? Just playing free money sites for now.

I'm doing Hanako, now. I found a flow chart, so that makes it piss easy.

Also, that's not Asuka cosplay. At least I don't think

Personally, i wouldn't use flowcharts for my first runs, preferring to answer what i think i should. In any case, i think you'll be surprised at the difference in lenght of Hanako's route compared to Lilly's. By the way, we have a thread dedicated to Katawa Shoujo somewhere in off-topic if you want to write your impressions there.

And yeah, now that i look at it better, i can see it's a Lilly avatar. It's a nice fan-art.

Just started to play Persona 3 for the first time (yes, I never played it before). Love the opening a whole bunch, its called "burn my dread" I believe. Its another worthy example to my argument that certain games are a work of art

I recommend trying out Persona 4 after. The most fun I've had with a JRPG for a long, long time.
A shame I had Persona 3 spoiled, I'd have loved to try it out.

I both doubt it and am not entirely sure I'd want it anyway. I've played REmake to death (I'm talking at least 8 beats here), and I beat a year-long-standing replay of RE0 just last summer, so I'm intimately familiar with what the fixed camera entails, and I'm not entirely sure it's something the series needs more of.

I'm getting back into RPGs. Witcher 2, Morrowind, Ni No Kuni and Disgaea 3.

I also played God Mode. It's a third person shooter by Atlus. It's the worst game of the year.
