Tokei knows that it isn't Akio's fault. She's angry with him, but that realization is what keeps her from socking him in the mouth. Plus, if she were wearing her plugsuit, her fist would probably break all of his teeth.

Everyone should be nervous. When the guy playing him has no idea of the character's reaction, it's not a good indicator for safe and rational thought.
