Why would anyone want to completely change how they live their lives for (what we assumed would be) close to 10 months? You say that like it's easy to just abandon something you've done every day for years.

Meh. Dont really care,honestly. It's great it's coming out but what the hell is the point in calling it 3.33 if nothing new will be added? Seems awfully stupid. Then again,I never seen the film so I dont even know what kinda of extra scenes they could even add.

So this is pretty exciting, huh.

Now we play the waiting game.

Even though it's not been stated in the press bit, I'm sure this release will have edited/new content strictly due to the 3.33 moniker. Or, as SeeleText said, that'd be a bad break in precedent otherwise. Personally, I fucking love the film as is - So no biggie if we don't get extra scenes or what-not.

I'm stoked for the people who have waited for this too. I'm proud of you guys, haha!

I have no regrets about not waiting for the DVD release. The camrip was awesome, and this will simply be awesomer.

Well for me personally Q was an interesting opportunity to test something.

I haven't actually been watching that much anime for the past 2-3 years but still spent a lot of my free time at various anime related sites and communities. I knew this was a timesink and Q was a great excuse to ditch the vast majority of it and go do other things. Those other things also made sense to pursue since they ranged from being as trivial as working to finish some model kit or prop I started years ago but never got done to learning and re-learning valuable skills and knowledge that I've let lapse or never bothered with and in general trying to improve myself instead of lazying around like I have been.

Yes everyone is different but for me it was both easy and logical to just abandon something I've done every day for years.

Q BD being so early is almost a disruption of my plans but I'm sure I can accomodate it.

Because it's the Spanish Inquisition. Nobody saw it coming. Choruses are really easy to expect in comparison, with all that singing.

Sweet... If they do rerelease Rebuild, I hope they add the English subtitles from the US release. I got the first two on DVD back when I was a pleb with broken eyes and I haven't had the energy to upgrade when a superior product might come along.

Actually, what are the chances of the eventual NGE Blu-Ray box coming with the English subs and/or dub?

i am pretty sure if they've used Japanese camrips, they wouldn't mind using a Japanese BD/DVD.
