No, nothing like diabetes. Sugar-sensitivity is some semi-new discovery, that says sugar (yes, certain types of fruit has too much sugar, too) or white-things (things that aren't whole grain or whole wheat) can be the cause of having depression or anxiety, so it's best to avoid those fully.
It's basically a modified food plan (NOT a diet, but a food plan ;)) that focuses on high-protein, high-fiber, low-sugar.
