Long count is vigesimal - it actually doesn't account for a full five days in a year, calling those "dangerous days" and discarding them from the usual count. The Mayans could easily have snuck in a leap year by increasing one of those dangerous days when they pleased.

Fortunately my friends planned a get together for Friday, so I'll be with people that I know. So if anything does happen (which I'm pretty sure nothing will happen) I won't be alone.

Probably gonna go to work in the morning since it's a half-day anyway. Then I'll either stay with my family, go to my friend's house and play SSBM through the night, or just work on my college applications like I should. That last one sounds like the wiser choice.
