If I understood correctly, a Japanese site wrote it's a scene that flashes the moment Kaworu turns into "the key". Presumably to "lock down" the Chamber of Guf in the climax :/

I think now I'll have to agree with everyone who's mentioned that the blue sphere with red grid might be the moon.... Cuz Kaworu said so!

Although it still bothers me that Kaworu was clearly leading Shinji down a flight of stairs, and yet there were clouds and they seemed to be looking down at post Near-3rd-Impact Tokyo III the whole time.... So Nerv HQ/Geofront must have been floating in the sky after N3I or something?? @.@

Have the booklet interviews been transcribed yet or even better, fully translated? I'd like to check them out regardless

Kind of. No recording/encoding - I used a grabber program to get the link to the actual file being streamed, so it's 1:1 the version on the site.

Would you mind mentioning which program you used? Also, do you live in Japan or did you use a proxy to bypass the block?

Thanks a lot man! It looks like rtmpdump just doesn't work with Bandai channel protected streams, I tried it after setting up a VPN with that server, it's unfortunate that probably we don't have any free software capable of doing this dirty job.

Thanks for the nice video. I was trying to get it somehow by digging through the script etc, but failed in the end. If I'm correct, the original file was mp4 though. Whatever, this looks good enough.
