Well mari and Asuka are fighting together against the angel of birds ARAEL? probably they wanted to got something in space and was contaminated by the angel ? but i dont get the ending eyes , maybe it was eva 01 ! ??? I love mari , seriously , she is equal to Asuka now

A lot of things appear to have occured since the end of 2.0. Im wondering if it will be explained or this is a flash-forward to be worked towards in the first part of the film. Will the next thing we see after this scene be a caption saying 'Two Weeks Earlier...'

It seems quite probable to me that whatever they meant back then has been completely rewritten. Which is kinda sad, cuz I got cool vibes from that part of the preview when I saw it. "Who could the pilot be? Is Eva-08 a rebuilt Eva-01 or something? I MUST KNOW!" But here's to hoping that what that whole angle was replaced with (if it's really gone) will rock even harder. I'm excited enough for what I'm already seeing before me!

Yes thats the actual first 6 and a half minutes of the actual film. Dont moan it doesnt make sense, you have no context. The opening scene of 2.0 didnt make a huge amount of sense in isolation.

We see Fuyu, Gendo and Donkey in 3.0 trailer, Im treating as Fuyu getting unceremoniously bumped off with a certain amount of skepticism
