Ayanami Raising Project PC version CG pack

As I mentioned before, CG rip of Ayanami Raising Project PC edition, keep in mind that they're higher quality but there are no Asuka pics and less Rei ones, they introduced more Rei events in the PS2 version.

I've also tried to correct the colours of the PS2 version using Photshop's curves tool, you can download the update rip from here, this is a comparison:

I'm not really good at this stuff, maybe someone else could do a better job, but as you can see the colours match (almost) perfectly the ones of the PC version now.

Do you have a link for this synopsis?

Same here, I never saw an English language walkthrough, I found a Japanese guide of some kind but I fear that I've lost it now.
View Original PostSeen wrote:As great as these are, they're also painful reminders of the fact that nobody will ever translate these Raising Project games.

Well, Ayanami Raising Project, the PC version, is easy to hack and it doesn't have a lot of text, but we always lack interested translators unfortunately.
View Original PostAR-99 wrote:Appreciate all the hard work! As a suggestion, what about updating the first thread with links to subsequent rips? However keep posting the updates as responses as well.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'm going to do it.

Next I'm probably going to post the PSP version of Girlfriend of Steel 2nd, I didn't notice it myself but it looks like they "upgraded" the graphics when they ported it. There's a little issue though, most pictures are actually split between two or more pics, I'm thinking of joining them but I don't know how to automate it, I could either post them just like that, but I would prefer to avoid it, or it's going to take some time before I get bored enough to process them all manually:

Just a headsup, the PSP Ports of GoS Special Edition and GoS2 also have censoring, eg: http://forum.evageeks.org/thread/6216/GAME-GoS-Special-Edition-and-GoS-2-released-on-PSP/ (I sold my copy of PSP GoS SE awhile ago.) Apparently they were also censored in the PS2 versions of the games, lol Sony. Pretty sure the graphics upgrades for the GoS games were like that on the PS2 then carried over to the PSP.

Girlfriend of Steel 2nd PSP/PS2 CG rip

Thanks a lot for mentioning the PS2 version, SSD, I completely forgot that it even existed... You're right about the graphics, they re-drew them for the PS2 version, also the PS2 version has higher resolution and bit depth, without saying that I don't have to join thousands of split tiles! There's one downside though, the Westside tool didn't retain the alpha channel informations, unlike the official Sony tool that I used for the PSP version.

For this reason I decided to upload both the PS2 and the PSP rip
GoS 2nd PS2 version: part 1, part 2
GoS 2nd PSP version
Obviously I left the PSP graphics in their "raw" format, multiple split tiles, after all they're mostly redundant except for the pictures with an alpha channel.

Do you need the original PC game's CGs too? It's been floating on the internet for sure but I can quickly do it myself (in lossless PNG as usual) if anyone need it.

Anyway I'm also going to post the CGs of Girlfriend of Steel Special Version (PC version) soon.
So let’s make a wish.

Reichu uploaded the GoS2 images ages ago: http://forum.evageeks.org/post/56430/Girlfriend-of-Steel-2-pics-Enjoy-XD/#56430 (That was when I was brand new to the forums and Internet culture, hence the supaa desu kawaii ^_^ s everywhere.)

Meitantei Evangelion CG pack

Sorry for the lack of updates, I kinda forget to make a post. GoS SV is troublesome because the ripped graphics are huge, almost 4 GB as bitmap, I think that I could try to squeeze them by omitting the lower resolution versions, apparently the game has three different versions of each (?) graphic element.
About GoS2nd (PC version), Reichu's images are compressed in JPEG, she mentioned that she has the original PNGs though, I think that I'll still rip it sometime in the future when I'm bored because I prefer to have losselss PNGs.

Anyway I ripped Meitantei Evangelion, beware of the gorish pics, it's funny that Sony censored naked girls from GoS2nd but they don't care about dead girls in a lake of blood. Actually I started playing this crazy game and I noticed that there's no (open) thread about it, I think that I'm going to open one later today or tomorrow, just to share some thoughts about this game.
So let’s make a wish.

I'm sure my PNG backups are on a DVD-R somewhere around here, but it would be worthwhile ripping the images from GOS2 anyway. There were some diagonally-panning images that you'd only be able to see in their entirety via a rip, for example.

Good, effectively I noticed from your notes that you manually took screenshots (kudos at your patience) rather than extracting the graphics from the game, I'm going to post it soon in this case, I already have the game installed on my PC.

I said "beware of the gorish pics" for a reason.
SPOILER: Show
I already saw the Kaji one before but I wasn't sure about the source, it's kinda funny imo. The first dead Gendo is a recurring nightmare of Shinji, but I suspect that he dies for real later on.

Actually it's not so much the violence of the deaths but the unusual circumstances. Save more discussion for a focused thread probably.

It took me forever but here you go, Girlfriend of Steel 2nd PC version: part 1, part 2.

I still don't know what I'll do next, actually I have few options left, GoS SV and Battle Orchestra are the first two games which come to my mind.

Maybe I can somehow fit Hitomi and Kyoya into CotP, since everyone down to Maria Vincennes is already invited to the party, but I'm mainly interested in "Behind the scenes stuff"/any halfway decent addition to the frachise.

Ah, it's a shame Shinchan's not around. I just recently found this thread (thanks to Kendrix post), but the Meitantei mediafire link is not working. Does anyone happen to have the set?

I recently got Evangelion Battle Orchestra, and ran it through some tools I have. I extracted all the images, sound and the intro in their raw formats. The images from the game are all png so that worked well.

Still trying to see if I can extract all the extra textures, because there were so many recolored skins in Endless Battle Mode.

Tutorial Anywhere

I don't suppose anyone has a tutorial anywhere for this game. I've played through three times but can't figure out:
What affects the affection stat
How to unlock Asuka
What each menu actually does(most of them I don't know)
Does anyone happen to have a tutorial that might cover that?
If a king does not lead, how can he expect his subordinates to follow?

Did anyone back-up or even have the GOS2 PS2 CG's? The link here is probably long dead and I've also searched the net but I can't seem to find a download anywhere.
