Since I am a complete and utter idiot when it come to computer games and video games in general, my question is when they say it's a web browser game, do they mean something online such as the Lord of the Rings online game?

It's probably one of those online games you play from inside your browser, like Quake Live.

hopefully with the increasing popularity of the rebuild movies we might get to see it, also helps that it's a browser game.

They have made some Pachinko games for PS3 and there was that Misato News Service awhile back. If you mean a regular PS3 game, I'm sure it'll be a matter of time. (Same with PS Vita.) The cash cow needs to stay milked somehow.

As for this browser game, I hope it won't suck. I'm somewhat interested in it. I guess it would only be based on 1.0 and 2.0 but still.

If they wanted to appeal to most Japanese fans than they could just make a Cell Phone game App.
