I saw the evamonkey website while looking for info about the new movies, wich revived my interest in NGE, and romance started floating in the air while looking at it, and you know, clicks here clicks there, I fell in love. I decided to check out the forum, and it was just "ouch, that reichu guy is w00t " and "Yay, theres an active offtopic. <3"

So, yeah, the introduction. I'm an ex-evaholic and all, already passed through my WTHIsGoingOnInThisThingAndw00tReiIsSexy phase (wich was nothing more than trading NGE for Serial Experiments Lain, but anyway...), but after knowing about the new four movies it all just came back to me. I'm not very knowledgeable on the deep whatever-they-are on evangelion, since I'm more interested in Anno's "personal" stuff presented in the anime, but I will try my best to contributed, even thought will probaly be nothing compared to what the guys here do, but the thought that counts. At least the offtopic will see a lot of me. :P

Welcome and leave your sanity at the door, you won't need it here. Also don't worry about your English grammar skills; they are plenty good and even better than some others on this board whose first language is English. And my final point is you might want to think about editing your post to say Reichu “gal.” It would be safer for you that way.

Retired this year (2006), was an incredibly close season, came down to the last 2 races (Suzuka and Brazil), but Schumi's engine blew up and Alonso won the championship. Next year is going to be interesting, Kimi driving for Ferrari, Alonso with McLaren, Bridgestones only tyre now...

Anyways, I asked because all the Brazilian people I know are crazy into F1 (they'd have to be considering where the track is).

I only know a girl who actually is a fan of f1. F1 in brazil is more like "oohh i like f1, but i only watch it saturday/sunday morning cause theres nothing else in tv." When Airton Senna was alive it was more "fanactable", but Rubens Barrichelo and the new brazilian pilots are just damn sad. I think i will start to watch it again next season, if i can get up in time for it.

Filipe Massa finished 3rd in championship standings. Finished 1st in Brazilian GP, next year will continue to drive for Ferrari. The sport has changed so much since Senna and Villeneuve, cars were so much faster back then and the drivers were truly nuts for going so fucking fast. Biggest problem IMO is not robo-drivers like Schumacher but the FIA.
