Is there anyone else who does NOT open their figures and keeps them MIB?

Not I. If I get a figure it's because I want it, and therefore will likely never sell it. I'm gonna use it/play with it/whatever, not keep it sitting in its damn box. I do use boxes to store accessories or for transport, though.
For my post-3I fic, go here.
The law doesn't protect people. People protect the law. -- Akane Tsunemori, Psycho-Pass
People's deaths are to be mourned. The ability to save people should be celebrated. Life itself should be exalted. -- Volken Macmani, Tatakau Shisho: The Book of Bantorra
I hate myself. But maybe I can learn to love myself. Maybe it's okay for me to be here! That's right! I'm me, nothing more, nothing less! I'm me. I want to be me! I want to be here! And it's okay for me to be here! -- Shinji Ikari, Neon Genesis Evangelion
Yes, I know. You thought it would be something about Asuka. You're such idiots.

If it's a figure I've fallen in love with? I'll buy a second to keep in package so that I have a spare. Such as RD Eva-02, I bought one specifically to put away for safe keeping. Also picked up a second Figma Rei to do the same. If I had the chance? I might end up getting a second SPEC Eva-02 to put away.

That's the only time I'll keep a figure MIB. Like Bagheera said, I buy figures to enjoy the figure itself, not the package. Package is a way to transport it to me.

(Spoiled due to insanely large image. Sorry.)

My collection when compared to most is pretty small, but hey, it's what I got. I plan on adding a few figures and maybe Death and Rebirth if I can find it for a price less than 100 bucks.

I like your american version of the box of End of Evangelion.
In France the picture is different (and I don't like it :/).

It came with a poster of the cover too, I plan on framing it sometime this week actually.

I hope that's a typo, because Death and Rebirth is pretty readily available on the used market for $10-$15. For example, this auction has a copy with the insert poster for a BIN price of $15.50 including shipping.

Understandable, especially if you turn it around. :kensuke_drool: I think the sculptor really got a kick out of crafting this one.

After providing a preview of what I have, I went through and compiled a definitive inventory of everything and obtained photos of same. This is everything, most of it unseen, but it is there. Logistically I cannot lay everything out and get it all into one shot at this time, so this is the closest.

All of it can be seen on the website I set up, the Evangelion Virtual Museum, something I've wanted to do for the past few years but wasn't inspired to work on until getting involved with EGF. So I have you, my fellow Eva fans and collectors, for helping light the fire that inspired me to complete this undertaking. Because of my collection's size and availability of storage space most of it is boxed up as shown. Thus another function of the website is to help me see what I have in order to avoid future duplication, as I uncovered several duplicates of what I already have.[/spoiler]

What prompted you to go with Weebly for the site? Not a bad decision actually...

Was curious with what you did after you made that thread in the general section.
