I will see it as soon I can, non illegally of course. I will avoid this forum area, however, 3.0 will be a top priority spoiler for a while, so maybe this area will be safe.

I will avoid the Rebuild forums, but certainly not Evageeks as a whole. I trust people here to have enough restraint and not let it spill into the other boards.

I will watch it illegally as soon as possible with the given pledge to purchase the Funimation release when it comes out, as I did with the last two films. Even if I hate it. As for spoilers, I'll be unable to resist. I'll read whatever I can as soon as I can. Frankly I feel 'spoilers' is a misnomer; it spoils nothing and allows for a sharing of experience among those discussing it. Being 'spoiled' during the flurry of info surrounding the last films the first few hours and days after they came out was a very fun experience, moreso than the films probably. You know what isn't fun at all? Depriving yourself of that kind of whirlwind community experience. Knowing things that will happen should diminish nothing in the way of enjoying a work, or coming to ones own (sometimes evolving) opinion of it.

I'd love to avoid anything related to 3.0 until the Blu-rei is out to enjoy it in its full glory but given the nature of regularly browsing 4chan it will be really hard to not get spoiled somehow.

I don’t really care if I get spoiled the only part of Eva that was not spoiled for me was 2.22. I really don’t mind being spoiled.

I will attempt to steer clear from spoilers for as long as humanly possible, but being me I'll probably shoot myself in the foot and wind up reading em anyway. Alas.

This time I will succeed knowing nothing until I' see it myself, although it's going to be hard avoiding everything for like 3/4 year...
But the payoff shall be orgasmic.

I will avoid at least the "Rebuild" section of this forum. Not because of spoiler (for NME I prefer spoilers) but I think I will suffer oversaturated exposure to discussion/speculation/rant/hype/arguments which will end up with fatigue and backlash for me. I will probably keep in touch with the Japanese anime forums and blogs that I frequent though -- and hope that the buzz there would not be too loud and crazy...
I never thought I would come back to Evangelion after EoE,
But I discovered Re-Take (or it found me?) and
now here I am.

From between it hitting Japanese theatres and me being able to see it I'll not be going anywhere near anywhere where there might be spoilers. I might still go to the off-topic section of EGF, but a lot of other websites will be off my bookmarks for a few months.
It'll suck not being able to watch any Eva videos on youtube for such a long time, though.

I'll only check to see if Asuka survives. Forgive me for sounding fanboyish.

Maybe we should put some spoiler policy in place, like, every thread specifically dealing with 3.0 stuff must have "[spoiler]" written in its title, ans in every other thread, 3.0 related stuff must be put in spoiler tags untill the Blu-Rays/DVDs are out in the US.

May i ask.......How long did it took for that ugly camrip to come out? at that time i wasn't constantly checking news for eva..... yes indeed i was unconsciously fearing spoilers that might ruin the whole thing.
But due to that..... i never knew how much time did it take for that camrip to come out being as it was the only one of it's own, or at least that i knew of.(3-4 months?).
It's too late to pry away.

I am going to spoil the hell out of myself. I must know dammit.

Besides, being spoiled for 2.0 and actually experiencing Anno's mounting insanity were two totally different things, and I can't imagine it won't be doubly so for 3.0.

I hope, of course, that 3.0 will be shown at a film festival in Europe... I would totally go there.

That is almost exactly what we plan to do, just as we did for 2.0 in its turn.

The policy will come into effect at the time the first real trailer appears (i.e. 4-6 weeks before the theatrical release) and will continue at least until the Japanese home video release.

Meh, I spoiled the final Harry Potter book for myself, and I still read it. I spoiled EoE for myself, and I still watched it. Even if I spoil EVERYTHING for myself with regards to 3.0, I'll still watch it unless it turns out to be total crap...and if Asuka dies a horrible, senseless death, which I think would be pointless - it would be like saying, "Yeah, you recovered...but we're still gonna fuck you in every orifice."

Its funny cause when 2.0 came out, I read a ton of spoilers and when I watched it I was still surprised. Idk maybe I'm more a a visual learner than I am by reading something.

My sentiments fall in line with Seele00's. Avoiding spoilers puts handcuffs on staff members, as well, and Lilith knows this subforum needs as many staffers patrolling it as possible when a new NME move-film comes out...

When we were giving 2.0 spoiler coverage, the theatrical trailers and other pre-release promo materials didn't count...
What if... Kaworu bonded with Misato instead of Shinji, and the two of them were siblings?
