Actually there is some truth in all of the points, particularly the "engaging dialog" part.

Episode 3 now made sense, plot is advanced, and everything goes real serious.

And, hoooboy, Araragi... Senjougahara is one woman you can't mess with. Always.

It looks like Nisemonogatari is still going down in a downward spiral even though we had Senjougahara...

:(

But since this episode set-up a lot of things to come, it´s okay I guess.

Sounds like you feel like you want to let go.

What downwrad spirl? It is looking up, and up! (though not in the conventional sense, as the style and focus stays mostly the same in this series)

Araragi breaking the chains felt like a liberation. Finally something happening.

Suddenly, he's Morpheus. Earlier, he reenacts a scene straight out of Akira. Damn awesome.

All in between he and Senjogahara act like a married couple. Perfectly normal... except...

I dunno, in terms of enjoyment it wasn´t as fun as 1 and 2.

Welcome to the "serious business" stage of the entire saga, and Kaiki's gonna deal Araragi some really nasty cards on this first round.

I hope he doesn't get ripped apart just like the last time when Suruga almost did him in with his innards.

Maybe I'm wrong, but the real fun begins.

I really liked Episode 3. I liked the darker, little less mundane tone it had. Oh, and the production values are gorgeous. While Nise explodes in great Animation Bake on the other hand only had a few great animated things per episode. Can't wait to see what Shinbo does with a movie-budged.

Ep 3 was great. All you need is to have Senjougihara waltz in and voila, the quality goes up by leaps.

Really cute "trailer for next episode" you can find in the official website
http://www.nisemonogatari-anime.com/story/story04.html
NisiOisiN even wrote the dialogues for it.

For Ep.4:
SPOILER: Show

Not sure if anybody has done subtitles for it though....

Shinobu now has a voice, and hers is made of sex, reason and analysis. Araragi almost gets himself caught red-handed... again.

Not a big fan of full-on loli nudity, but eh, her voice and the way she talks totally makes up for it.

SHINOBU finally speaks !!!
In fact there was intense discussion in 2ch about Maaya Sakamoto voicing Shinobu instead of Aya Hirano. It is amazing how people can make comparisons because Hirano barely spoke anything in Bakemonogatari. I guess some got attached to Hirano's voice in her other tough-loli-girl role - Kacha in Qweaser. But then they should not have expected Kacha's voice in Shinobu because Shinobu is in fact not 8 years old but much much older. Aalthough some think she did not convey all the emotions in some dialogues, many think Maaya did a pleasantly surprisingly good job in voicing it -- combining the other-wordliness and nobleness of her original form with her current loli status. Some in 2ch somehow thought her voice reminded them of Horo in "Spice and Wolf" though.

Although many talk about the loli bath scenes, which you could really know everything Shinobu and Araragi talked about and the depth of their feelings only if you have read Kizumonogatari, some also think the sexiest scenes are Karen lying on Tsubasa's lap or even the Tsubasa in bed with her new short hair....

Anyway, seem nobody noticed that the end-card of this episodes is by YURU-YURI's Namori:

YES!!

Also, the latest news has it that Karen Bee will cosist of 7 episodes which means Tsukihi Phoenix will have only 4 episodes.
