[Anime Ai no Awa Awa Hour]
I know Ebichu has been subbed out of this, but I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about "Koume-chan Ga Iku!" ? According to ANN, Anno was the series director.
Modern Love's Silliness was Anno directing adaptations of 3 different manga. Only Ebichu is well-known, largely because it has an anime-esque character (the hamster). I'm assuming the remaining stories are not life-changing, so unless you learn Japanese, you'll never truly experience them.

Are there raws available of the other 2 shows? I know that Koume-chan (I think) is full of Kansai like humour. I always wanted to see that one.

How can you expect to live in a Republic when you don't care about the res-publica?

I am 99% sure that Anno was the series director for all three. Source:

This was the official English version of the Gainax website-- if you're interested in Modern Love's, poke around there a little.

WEll yeah, Like I said, he did the planning.
Planning does entail a great deal of things.
Good example of when some just "planned something" The Nightmare Before Christmas. Tim Burton did not direct that film. He produced it, and was heavily involved in the planning of it (it was his idea after all), but not he did not direct it.
