But yeah, I've kept hearing good reviews for Dark Souls. And the macrophile community keeps talking about Gwynevere. I suppose I shold check it out at some point.

Sure, but I posted also to see if any agrees with my guess that hotlink might have something to do with the delay in the loading of the picture on my PC. Since at the end the pic was fully loaded on my PC and got cached, it is a bit hard for me to ascertain if the delay has anything to do with the hotlinking.
I never thought I would come back to Evangelion after EoE,
But I discovered Re-Take (or it found me?) and
now here I am.
