Actually, the song in the game is not from a game at all.

Its one of the background tracks on the Eva OST.

Um... just because it is on the Eva OST doesn't mean it isn't from a game. I suppose it's possible, but are you sure?

Wow.

I always wondered what game that was.

I assumed it was something 32-bit and side-scroll-ley...

but Eva OST background music? :shock:

Is it possible she was playing some kind of Super Famicon NGE game?!

No wonder she played it for so long...

The music is simply called "BACKGROUND MUSIC II" from OST 3. It is a sort of cowboy-themed rendition of the NERV theme. The game she is playing is Puyo Puyo (a puzzle game of matching colors, like Puyo Pop, available on Game Boy Advance), which is odd because it sounds like she's blowing shit up. The music has nothing to do with the game.

i recall that it was vaguely similair to the eva theme or something... but it looked like an action game..
