As much as I would presently deny it, it is inevitable that I will continue to buy Eva revos even if they start over. Though unless they make the figures bigger I do not see a way to improve upon the evo mold

According to the EvaEvo official page, Evangelion 05 will be released in November 15th...
It reads:
NO.108エヴァンゲリオン仮設5号機」2011年9月15日->11月15日発売予定に変更
which according to Babel Fish is:
NO.108 "Evangelion Temporary Machine 05” 2011 September 15th -> modification to November 15th sale schedule

Thank God...
I had read somewhere that it wouldn't be 'till January...

The riobot just looks, meh. Like a big Robot Damashii with half of the articulation.

Then again I could be wrong and the pictures are just not doing justice to the figure.

I'm still not sold by the RIOBOT, since it seems to be stuck somewhere in between NGE and NME. But thought it was interesting that some of the newer pictures show that the green parts seem to be translucent.

I like the pattern in the green parts. But not much else really. I don't see where it's worth any more than a RD or a Revo aside from the size.

That's cool... I love translucent stuff. May make this Unit01 worth getting, even though I was already contemplating it down the line for the Lance :D

The fact it needs a stand support to hold it puts me off.... a good mecha needs to stand on its own(otherwise it looks like a mecha on crutches).

This only means either its weight distribution is not well-balanced or the joints are those loose types.

Having said that, I might just end up eating my own words & end getting it in the end....

Not sure whether to post in the EVA Action Figures post as I notice its usually mechas there. Plus 'action' means pose-able....
Not sure whether anyone has created a thread for EVA characters: figurines or statues as well.... Please relocate this if/as required.

It may be old news to some, but I just received this pair of beauties a week ago...
