Yeah, I know. I was referring to the narration as opposed to those preview images.

Which means that for 3.0, they most they could commit to a plot online is this:

- Confirmation of Eva-01's suspended status, and we learn that Shinji and Rei are trapped inside.
- Confirmation that Tokyo-3 is leveled.
- Nerv personnel are put into detainment.
- ...leaving Eva-06 free to check out the basement.
- Somewhere, Eva-08 and its pilot(s) are 'quickening'.
- "Seele's Children" assemble.
- ?????

Exactly. I'm pretty sure I mentioned this some...where in at least another thread or two but I can't find where (gah).

From what I can make of Misato's narration, it's roughly along these lines: "Shinji Ikari's awakening and an unknown boy who's waiting for a new world."

Mecha action in space (or at least somewhere around the thermosphere)? Hope it will be less like Gundam and more like Macross.

Anyone have any guesses as to what the trailer is saying? I could make out "Ikari Shinji mezamero(u?)", something with Shinji and awakening, but my next to nonexistent Japanese fails me otherwise.

Glad I saw the preview before it got taken down. I’m so pumped (but over a year away *sigh* at least we now have a real release date). Like I said in the other thread I hope Asuka can finally beat the shit out of Arael

1.0 was Red

2.0 was Orange.

3.0 is Black?

Looks like Asuka is falling towards the Earth during Third Impact (the skies turned red at the end of 2.0- expect that to happen again soon).

Like I've expected, this film will likely wipe away most complaints about Asuka being mistreated in Rebuild.

It'd be a nice break (har har) from what fans assumed was a rainbow color scheme (eg: 3.0=Yellow, 4.0=Green). Black just calls to my mind Black Moon (and Lilith and Third Impact) but hm....
