[MANGA] [GOS2] How long is Angelic Days/Girlfriend of Steel

Hey, is the Angelic Days manga still running in Japan, or has it ended? And if it has ended, how many volumes are there?

I can only confirm the existance of six volumes. The last of which was apparently published last december. I believe that it ended with volume 6, but I cannot confirm it. Just that there were three published in 2004, and three in 2005, and none so far this year. Given that, I believe that it has concluded.

Wonder who got together in it in the end? I predict something like Shinji/Rei, Asuka/Kaworu (check out their bickering in Vol.1

), Kensuke/Other & Toji/Hikari.

I got volume 6, and it looks like it might have ended there.

From the cover art for that volume with Asuka and Shinji holding hands, I think it's fairly obvious who he ends up with.

Where can i buy all the volumes? I have checked online, and i have not found further than vol.3!

Unless you intend to buy the Japanese versions, you're going to have to wait a while. The North American release is up to volume 2, with volume 3 due out November 25th. I don't know very much about the distribution of the comic outside of North America.

Who knows, Volume 1 has Rei and Asuka holding hands...

That makes me sad, I was hoping he'd end up with Kaworu... After all, he is Shinji's friend, and only Shinji's friend...

Ok, maybe i won't wait!
But i can't seem to find Angelic Days volume 6, other than Eva Store --which doesn't ship internationally--
Anyone knows where can i look? --have already looked at amazon.co.jp, has until volume 5--

Edit: Ok, i found jpqueen, just hope it ships internationally!

On reading Vol.2, I think Kensuke/Asuka would make a sweet couple.

Yeah, it's 6 volumes long, and as the covers of both volume 4 and 6 show, Shinji obviously ends up with Asuka. ^_^

According to what I read though, apparntly the acutal story ends at volume 4 while volumes 5 and 6 are supposedly just short stories. No idea how valid that is as it was just some fan's words.

It would be kinda weird if Rei and Kaworu end up as a couple, though I'm wondering if Volume 3 (it's released already as I have it, Amazon's just stupid with saying it'll be released later this month) is implying that OR of who they "really" (*cough* Lilith and Adam *cough*) are...That seems to be the case with Kaworu-kun, I think.
...I'm considering getting the original Volumes of 4 and or 6, I just don't know if it'd be worth it or not.

I've gotten my copy of Volume 3 today.

I'm curious to how the manga will end. It's supposed to be an "alternate universe/romance shojo", but it seems to have some more serious plot points. Who exactly is Kaworu in this alternate universe? Why does he appear in a class roster 20 years before? Is the EoE ending inevitable?

All I know is supposedly 2nd Impact never happened in this world, but in the back of my mind I've been wondering if come volume 6, it ends with Shinji waking up at the LCL Beach. Now THAT would be a mind-fuck! :shock: (And I thought Retake was bad with that! ^^; )

In terms of more serious plot-points, like I said before (guess it was in the other post about Girlfriend of Steel 2!) SPOILER:apparently, Adam (thus Kaworu?? Maybe?) EATS (kinky?? :shock:) Shinji in next volume, 4,/SPOILER so... Yeah. I wonder, too.

I have NO idea about Adam's soul in Kaworu, I'm just guessing that if Adam does that, it has to somehow be Kaworu's doing? But I guess we'll see. *shrug*
