What an impractical design.

A couple of strafing runs by Typhoons and Thunderbolts would of flattened these.

Anyway, I've went back to World of Tanks because of the hardwipe.

You know, for some reason I've always just loved the aesthetic appeal of the Patria Pasi series. A nice, spacey, six-wheeled, amphibious APC that can carry 16 people. What's not to love?

Though I know mecha aren't really practical, compared to tanks. They're still fun. :boingy:

Some time ago, I went to something called the "Deutsches Panzermuseum", which contained various vehicles.

Not sure what this thing is; probably an IFV of some kind.

Haha I know, was just being creative with the definition of "tank".

Last Monday during my pledge ceremony we were treated to a small showing of our (=artillery corps) fire power. It included several things, amongst them these "mobile cannons", which look pretty much exactly like tanks although technically they aren't.

There were a few of those there, I happened to sit right behind one of them (although not behind the one in that pic). They are pretty cool, shooting up to 30 km in optimal conditions (although in reality rarely above 20 km). During the presentation they shot several flares and attacked a close range target that was planted in the area. You can see the ammo (which weighs a fuck ton) behind and left to the tank.

Here is a better pic:

The Koreans sure know how to build sexy (albeit expensive) tanks.

They're going to build like 300 of those beasts to add to the 1500 K1A1s (basically a Korean M1) they've already got. Anyone who says that the North Koreans would use some sort of ''numerical advantage'' to get past all of that with their scrap iron T-62s and starving militia is going to get nothing but a full-on facepalm from me.
