why i do not keep pets
Not sure about Xard, but my answers would be

- not sufficient feelings regarding pets
- taking care of them takes time and effort which I prefer spending on something else.
- besides taking care of them, there is also the extra maintenance cost of a house that has pet living inside.
- extra responsibility when you travel (find a place to take care of the pet), when you move (my pet has to take the plane too) and of course when it falls ill.
- most of pets outlive the human who keep them, so sad moments are always not too far away.
I am sure many would like to refute me but I cannot even keep a plant alive in my house, so I do not think I am qualified to keep an animal pet.
