Its not a shot of Asuka. Its just her seiyuu saying a line, I dont remember it exactly but she is saying something like "Thanks, our next song is -Whatever the song is called-" Its the song from the Scene in the movie when 03 is Obliterated by Dummy Plug 01.

Also, one little goof.

Misato refers to the Mark.06 as Unit 06 in the Preview, whoops!

Yeah, that's actually happened in both previews I believe. Gendou and Fuyutsuki and Seele refer to it as Maaku Shikusu but Misato seems to think it's called Rokugouki.
Nothing is so valuable that it need not be started afresh, nothing is so rich that it need not be enriched constantly.

Well, wasn't it going to be called Unit 06 originally? That seems to be what its called in 1.11's preview regardless. But I don't really know.

Mark.06 is a silly name anyway.

It helps reinforce the "HELLO THIS DIFFERENT EVA IS DIFFERENT FROM OTHER EVAS WHICH IT IS DIFFERENT FROM DID I MENTION IT'S DIFFERENT" thing. Also, possibly relevant given how Anno seems to be having more fun with the religious symbolism at the moment: http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Mark+6&version=NIV

Canceled my Amazon order and replaced it at Rightstuf. Hopefully it means I'll get mine this week too.

People want Evangelion, and they want it now.

If there's an option to get it faster they're going to get it faster.

So how many people here besides me got/ordered the blu-ray? Since most people seem to have gotten the DVD instead.

I got the Blu-ray. I really enjoyed the 1.11 BD release, and 2.22 shouldn't be any different.

BD ordered as well. Actually one of the reasons I have a blu ray player is cuz Eva 1.11 was getting a BD release....

There were 3 copies of 2.22 dubbed at a convention I recently went to. They were for sale at a booth in the dealer's room, a long with a fantastic amount of other dvds. It felt cool to have something before it's release, but I'd say that the videos are already being sent and received without regards to the official release.

I ordered it from Amazon because it was only $9.99. I'll be happy to wait a bit longer.

Not going to to believe it until I see the Mark 6 walk on water. C'mon, Anno. You know you want to.

I got the DVD because I only have a DVD player, and I need specific screen caps for my review and analysis. (My computer doesn't have a Blu-ray drive of any kind.)

My brother has a Blu-ray player, so I'll be getting 2.22 on BD when it drops down in price. (I bought 1.11 on BD when I found a $14.99 copy on Amazon.) But until I get some major upgrades, it'll be mainly DVD or combo-packs for me.

Personally I'm nabbing Funimation's NME DVDs (so far I have 1.01 and 1.11; waiting for 2.22 DVD and FLCL from Amazon as well) but I'll probably buy BDs whenever Studio Khara releases the inevitable four-film boxset with shitloads of extras. You just know it's going to happen at some point. I'd buy BDs from the start, but I also don't have a Blu-Ray player and don't have the money to buy something like that currently.
