(Which obviously, anime and anime forums aren't important in the grand scheme of things. But staying connected to other people is important.)

Absolutely. I had been considering how I want to set my priorities in life since this year started, and then the quake struck in the very country where I am living. A lot more reflections are going through my mind, and who knows, I may one day also take a break, but I know where I would go back to once everything is settled. The anime/manga spirit never dies.
