By Chogokin, I mean the UNIT 01, I think it's how it's called in Japanese dub

Well, in fact i discovered that it's Shogoki. My bad.

LOL. Glad you found the real definition you were looking for. Chogokin in fact i believe means "metal" in Japanese. Or something to that degree. hence why the name is associated with the diecast figures Bandai churns out.

I really thought it was chogokin, because when watched 2.0 there's a scene where Shinji says something that sounds like chogokin, but googled and discovered the mistake, from now on I'll use Shogoki

do you guys have any tips on how to change the hands on the Fraulein revoltech Rei series 001 figure because the hands seem really tight to get on the wrist peg things

You mean the first Rei Revoltech Fraulein that came out like 3 years ago? Man....i got to take out my figure from storage to find out lol. I recall though from fuzzy memory that slowly twisting the hands from side to side allowed you to pull them off from the revoltech joint peg. Try it.

Well, when I first used a hand from the Old-Century Revoltechs I would use a thin cross-shaped screwdriver to remove small pieces of plastic from the inside of the hand by introducing it and spining it slowly, making the hola slightly bigger...

Yeah, I did the same for my Revo 005 Eva 00
swapping the hands is still a pain

Now, I've been bored waiting for Zeruel and the Eva 01 Evo to arrive, so I cooked this

You'll have to go to my blog, the forum doesn't allow video posting...

What I did was make sure the 2 ends of the Revo-joint are perpendicular to one another (at a 90 degree angle), and hold it firmly that way, so that the joint is less likely to wobble left and right than when you try to stick it in straight.

Certainly seems like a WAY better alternative than loose joints. I say only use Arael's method as a last resort. I know in the past that i've had a lot of frustrating play sessions with my revoltechs because of oddly shaped holes in the extra hands.

But yeah the screwdriver method does not always work. Be careful.

Hey... I heard this:
Image
In theory it's the release dates fo Evas 00, 03 and 05 from the Evolution Line...
Eva 03 and 05 would be #106 and #108 respectively...
So they won't be exclusives either :D

Dunno how accurate or true this info may be but anyhow, one reason more to not but the rest of the RD's (I already said I'll but RD Eva 01 to try it)

Not that anyone cares about Revo anymore :shinchair:

Is that really so arael? Things from november being distributed now?

Crap, maybe I have a new answer as to why the fuck my RD 03 hasn't arrived yet, still it is strange because packages from ami ami and hobby link Japan arrived at most a month later....

I'll guess my best choice is to wait. Crap.
