It was determined that they where refering to the 1.11 dub, so no Funi has not released the 2.0 dub

And again, not in WI.

Damnit Funimation, this state isn't just fat alcoholics. We have TWO Anime conventions here, thats more than enough... (well, two that I know of...)

Anyone know if theres the remotest chance 2.0 will be shown in the UK?

Was 1.0 shown anywhere over here?

I just wish I could reserve some tickets, but I guess it's too early for that. Guess I'll wait a few weeks.

I checked out the Plaza that's going to be screening in Atlanta earlier today and as of now, they have it listed as in Japanese with subtitles. I don't know if it's the same for anywhere else or if that's going to change down the line, but just thought I'd point out that in at least one area, it may not be shown dubbed.

Hey, is there any other way to access the screening dates? I tried postal code and name and everything and the New Mexico listing and it says that it can't find anything.

I hope Funi dont stuff it up. 1.0 wasnt too bad but they had a lot more material from NGE to go back to and improve on.

Well whoever plays her she'll probably have a posh english accent. Out of interest, are there any British voice actors on the anime circuit?

Be interesting how Funi do the 'speaking english as a foreign language' bits for Kaji and Mari.

They'll probably ignore the English speaking parts. As it has no plot relevance (so far). Kind of like how Hei in Darker Than Black had a Chinese background for no reason, they mention it once in the Japanese version (probably to mildly explain his chinese name) and nothing comes of it.

Also I kind of hope Mari does have a little British accent.

Believe it or not being a voice actor you're sometimes required to be able to do accents.

Funimation's page doesn't say anything about it, but checking out a couple of the theatre's websites, it looks like it's Japanese audio: http://www.newpeopleworld.com/films/films-1-2011/
