I love how in the beginning of this thread, everyone is so pessimistic about Petit Eva, and near the end, almost everyone thinks it's great... xD

I love Petit Eva. It's so cute~~ :3 I have like...3 petit Eva figures now.

Petit Eva wouldn't work as well without the source material to compare it to. But since it does, it works very well. Yes, Gainax knows Eva is their cash cow, and takes any opportunity to make money off it, but as long as you can accept that is the case with pretty much ANY franchise, you can enjoy it. The in-jokes in the series are worth the watch.

I still think Puchi Eva is fucking sinister. and may or may not contain hidden clues to the plot of Rebuild which we will only realize a decade later, Revelations style

The supplement book has profiles for a lot of the characters, including Kaworu. I wonder what they say.

Does anyone know what the Kanji in Misato's "ghost suit" says?
EDIT: According to my brother, it says Sensei.

I kind of wish they would make another batch of episodes. Only this time adding Kaji, Ritsuko and the NERV trio with an episode where Misato is eating sandwiches and Kaji comes along and tries to take them away from her or something like that.

I love these Petit Eva short videos!
Really helps to balance the dread and sadness of the EoTV + EoE.

But...Please help me with this question:

In the two episodes that show Rei eating breakfast, she eats toast and drinks something (and spills it all over the floor it seems) like porridge. Does anybody know what liquid breakfast food she's eating?

Is it Japanese porridge of some kind? Gruel? Grits?
I watched the Neon Genesis Evangelion TV show and films for the 1st time in January 2014. Heartbreakingly sad but so beautiful too. I'm here to discuss theories about what happened in the show.
