AHHHH Sorry! At this point in the comic, she is missing Shinji, so there's a lot of that around here. However, I just inked a pic of her putting on Shinji's t-shirt with a happy look on her face. I'll upload soon.

Thanks I1! Your comic made me lol. The shirt Asuka is wearing is a reference to the shirt Shinji was wearing in Ch.3. I threw the Monarch on his shirt really as a whim, but a lot of people picked up on it, and it just sorta became a 'thing'. The joke here is that Asuka in her private lonliness is digging Shinji's shirts out and wearing them.

I wuv me some Asuka, Grumman. Very nice.

I found myself bored, so I spent nine minutes tweaking this image in photoshop and came up with this:



As you can see from my nine minutes of work the edges are pretty sucktacular, the background looks drained even though the colour is from Shikinami's hair in the same screencap, and since the eyepatch is barely visible in the screencap I decided to abandon the usual iPod ad format by darkening and greyscaling Shikinami's features and not washing out her features with a black paint bucket. I can count the number of layers I used to make this on one hand, and I couldn't be bothered trying to find out the font that the iPod ads used so I picked one at random. Here's a version with a slightly lighter background, although it is still rather plain looking.

Since I like the concept for the pic I'll likely try it again sometime, i.e., as soon as 3.0 trailer/film comes out. Hope you like idea.

For a cleaner image, you can try to trace it down further if you have Illustrator or Coreldraw installed.
