Oh god.

Hello

Postby Spike Spiegel » Mon Oct 18, 2010 6:17 pm

Hello there. My name is Spike Spiegel. I just watched the entire series + EoE for the first time last weekend, and it's been very thought-provoking. It's cool that there's a place like this in the Internet where you're not constantly flamed with "Evangelion is overrated!" and "Eva is teh suk!"

I think it shall be quite enjoyable.

Hello, I'm French (so please, excuse my language),
I visit EvaGeeks and its forums for some years now, it's a really interesting source of informations for my favorite anime.

Evangelion is a kind of drug for me, thinking of it everyday. Rei is my favorite character.

It's great to be here ^^

Well after lurking this site for a few months, i have decided to make an account here. I have been into eva for roughly 4 months now, and i am hooked. I have to buy anything remotely eva related. I carry 2 external hard drives with the entire series on them and spend my days at school converting kids to eva-fans. Got a computer problem? Ask me. Chances are i can help.

Hi there!

So, what to say? Well, obviously I'm a big eva fan. NGE was one of the first anime series I watched, and it really got me. It's my favorite series, and also the only one I own (I actually got myself tha platinum box). I also have the "Der Mond" Artbook, the 1st and 3rd Volume of the Groundwork of eva (still need to buy 2nd volume) and also a poster (this is the only anime related poster I have in my Room):
SPOILER: Show

a bit blurry, sorry about that

Anyway, lately I have watching almost no anime, and dedicated my free time to manga. Also, I don't approve scanlations, so everything I want to read, I buy it (It's not that I have lots of money, quite the opposite, it's just that I would like to help the creators). Here's my collection of mangas:

.

The rest of the time I spend on haging out with friends, studying and reading (non-comics).

Hello. I'm a long time lurker who finally decided to register. I've been an Eva fan for about 10 years now and even as I grow more and more jaded, I always find myself returning to this show.

Other than Eva, I'm a fan of anime and manga in general (though more a fan of stuff pre 2006). I also like video games, comics and a large variety of other 'geeky' activities. But then, I'm guessing that's pretty much a given if your here :) .

It's nice to meet you all.

Sup peeps! I've been lurking here for a while, and I only just now decided to join and make a few posts.

To be honest, I haven't really watched much EVA. I've seen a few stray episodes and watched EoE (Which to my surprise, made perfect sense and had a reasonable message), but outside of that, most of my knowledge of the EVAverse come from second hand accounts, wiki searches, and other such things.

I am interested in Evangelion, though, and I'd love to watch the original series through, if for no other reason but to get in on some of the neat discussion you guys have about it. It looks like fun.

Greetings all! I've been lurking around the boards for a little while and finally decided to join, and share my humble opinions. I got into Eva during its original run on DVD back in 2000/2001, and one of the things I've always loved about it is the number of ways it can be interpreted, and how much it makes you think. The layers of meaning in the different facets of the series never cease to impress me, and I'm looking forward to seeing how other people pick it apart, as well as lending my own point of view.

I also find it interesting how varied and passionate the opinions are on the Rebuild movies, and look forward to discussing them.

Believe me, melichan, this forum goes beyond your thoughts/opinions of the show/Rebuild, so enjoy!
