I have too much anime, yet it's not enough. Anime Addict, if it were a drug; I'd be dead.

I'm looking forward to X-Men 3 and A Scanner Darkly, and the eventual release of Advent Children and Casshern on DVD.

Scary Movie 4 makes fun of G.W bush.

I am talking about where he was at the school and got told that the attack on the trade towers

Also Silent hill and X men 3 looks good from what I have seen from the trailer

Excellent! ferrariman you get +3 points to the stat of your choosing.
I've got to see this movie if the director even has the nerve to release something so hideously stupid. Only Chuck Norris can save this movie.

Scary movie 4 and maybe x man 3 are the only movies I may watch from your list. Watching Advent Children without the subs will also be cool.

Does it strike anyone else as odd that there are no movies that aren't sequels and/or adaptations?

Unfortunately, no - the lack of imagination out of Hollywood seems to be a long-term trend. AFAIR, Primer was the only USAn film I bothered to watch last year - if I do watch one this year, I don't know about it yet. Most of the time in the cinema, I'm watching sub-titled material.

I'm with Mr. Tines, there isn't much to watch coming out of Hollywood. The only thing I want to see is the Producers, which I'm going to have to rent at this point. I generally avoid going to the movie theater. The last film I went to see was Syriana and it was excellent.

Rumour has it they'l even remake the original star wars trilogy, i doubt it, but it's a cool prospect tho.

As long as Vin Diesel is in TF&TF3, il go watch it......

X men shouldn't be that bad, fun for a pizza & wine evening by ur lonesome i guess and MI3 should be entertaining as long as the buzz keeps going...

What? So George Lucas can butcher it even further and change Luke into a talking cat named Meow Skywalker?

Or god forbid give the fucking Gun-guns a role. Maybe some kick-ass chicks could help though. But leave the original alone damnit. It was fine the way it was, and damn better than what Lucas has been releasing of late, though I did like Revenge of the Sith.

If I become a film professor at a university someday, I'm going create an entire course entitle "Don't be like George Lucas" or "Learn from Lucas' dumbass mistakes".

For various hilarity, read the articles on Wikipedia concerning him, Star Wars, the article on criticsm of him, and the article bashing him. The articles on the fan re-edits of his movies are also fascinating.
