It's Region A, the same region as Japan and North America. So, yeah, it'll work. I'm eagerly waiting to see whether the quality is as good as the Japanese BD. I believe another poster said that the studio who did the subs for this also did the subs for another movie he/she watched, and they were pretty bad.

If Anno is anywhere close to the director I think he is, that SADT player Rei was holding at the end of 2.0 won't go unnoticed.

I think you're overrating Anno a bit here. Just a little bit. He's past his prime speaking in terms of cinematic presentation of images and philosophical commentary, so I wouldn't be surprised if he fucks this up royally like he did the character development in 2.0

Rei will be listening to it in Q and instead of Shinji's usual Track 25 and 26 (and 27, briefly), she'll be on Track 00.

I don't think Anno is some god or genius, but being that he created the Evangelion franchise to begin with, I'm sure he's no stranger to subtlety or detail. And for the record, I liked everyone in 2.0 better than I did originally. Even Gendo.

I think I noticed that the last time I watched it. The amount of detail they put into this movie really is amazing; it almost makes me want to watch it in slow-mo just to pick up on the little details.

I was paralyzed with the roar of unity 2 when cast against the AT field of Zeruel
It's the most realistic in sound I heard in the film
I repeated several times the scene to convince me that was the film and not an actual sound

I like the sound of a ping sound on glass when Da Beast lands on Zer's AT field.
